Thicccc delicious bagels

There is no other place in Bloomington where you can get variety of bagels and spreads. Definitely worth it.

Great place for a nice breakfast or lunch. The bagels are good and the staff is friendly. Try the cranberry walnut bagel or the chocolate chocolate chip muffin! Both are delicious!

My friend and I were on our way there and she called to see if we could place an order for a few bagels as we were on our way and she was verbally slammed with snide comments, whining, and general rudeness. We were able to place the order but it took a lot of patience to get the employee to listen. When we arrived, the employees were very rude still and the one who talked on the phone wouldn't look at us and she was being overly nice to the only other customer in line and even quite obviously gave that lady her food for free. While my bagel was being made, the employee turned away and coughed without covering her mouth. Though I'm glad my bagel wasn't coughed on, I worry for anyone who gets a bagel after me as she had coughed on their entire uncovered bagel supply.

Really good bagels and big menu of sandwiches. The staff was super friendly. It is a little pricey for a bagel shop...$31 for 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks, but we all loved our sandwiches and everything was fresh.

The BEST bagels in Bloomington (Panera sucks)! Very cheap and fast. The bagels are dense yet fluffy with an array of shmears and toppings. The baked goods are also really good.

Went to grab a quick bagel before having class. Figured I would go here over Starbucks, supporting local and all.Immediately felt like an idiot bcs the staff made me feel dumb for not knowing how to order. Didn’t greet me, just asked what I wanted.Ordered a bagel, spinach, just toasted. Wall for a menu says that is $1.25. I rang up my order and the woman charged me $2.70. No butter or honey or cream cheese or a fancy Asiago bagel that is $1 more. I asked if that was right to the other stuff after she had already rung me through (very fast paced). The one girl seemed to find that odd too, but the other girl said, “that’s right.” Unlikely based on your menu, but I’m not going to argue when I’m in a hurry. So either they are deceptive about their prices (menu is a wall, so maybe?) or the staff just don’t care to correct mistakes. Either way, not worth going and paying $1 more for a bagel that tastes the same as Starbucks. And Starbucks gives you reward points.

So much to choose from! And everything I've had from here has been tasty. I'd recommend the chocolate chip bagel with brown sugar schmear for sure.

This is my favorite quick breakfast stop downtown. They have a huge selection of bagels and cream cheeses as well as specialty sandwiches. Their salads and desserts look great also but I haven't had them.

I love the shmears that they have for the bagels. There are a lot of options, so there is more than likely a few that you will like. Makes for a good breakfast!

I called to place an order of 6 for pickup, and the women on the phone first disagreed with me and then she told me she only had two staff people and they were really busy so depending on how large the order was they might not do it. While I completely understand busy days in the food industry, I do not see why I as a customer should be subtly put down for wanting to order by being told what I was asking for was too much. I would have much rather heard that it was simply too busy for an order that big. I got there with my friend and the staff was very rude, and one of them even coughed on all the bagels in attempt to avoid coughing on my friends order. With the line picking up I felt bad, so I went to pay and they started to let someone who had been there for a minute cut me just to give her a free bagel. Normally I wouldn’t care , but because it was such a big deal that my order got in the way I left feeling like the bad guy.

Very good bagels and flavored cream cheese. Offerings have gone down hill since the move to this new location though. Not as many baked goods, and the prep area is really cramped; looks uncomfortable for employees. Also, I swear they never listen when I say "not toasted, please." They always toast... College kids, oh well.

Great chewy bagels with a nice sitting area. I really enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. They also coordinate very well with other local businesses.

Underrated breakfast spot in Bloomington.

Long line and slow service. Bagels were undercook. And I m still trying to find the cheese on the asiago bagel. It use to be way better!!!

Same great bagels, cream cheese and coffee. The new space retains at least some of the charm of the old, and the large overhead doors bring the outside inside for some great open-air dining. BBC Remains one of the better places for breakfast in Bloomington.

For a midwest city pretty good bagels. By no means does it match the bagels from NYC but still the best in Bloomington Indiana.

Hangover bagel has gotten me through many tough mornings

As I recently learned from my Mom, any good good bagel is boiled for anywhere between 1/2 - 1 minute before they are baked which makes for a chewy crust and slightly dense interior ... the longer they are boiled the thicker and chewier they are.If you seek such a bagel, Bloomington Bagel Co is the best I've experienced in town. On top of that, the crew hustles and are über friendly.

Good, quick spot for breakfast. When we went during June they had the front open, so there were flies around which was kind of gross. However, the food was very good and at a reasonable price. They have a good selection of cheeses for your bagel as well as many different vegetables and other combinations.

BBC always has a great variety of bagels to choose from and the veggies and other sandwich fillings are typically very fresh. The hazelnut coffee is super addicting! You must try it!

Don’t overlook the veggie burger option! I ate these long before I ever went veg. Now that I moved away from btown, I visit BBC every time I’m back! The new building is so nice and feels a lot less cramped than the old layout. Great bagels from an awesome female entrepreneur. My order: Asiago or Egg bagel, veggie burger, Gouda artichoke shmear, Swiss cheese.

I will always love this and every BBC location because the bagels are incredible and I always have fun with the kids behind the counter.

Fantastic food - my wife had a bacon, egg, and cheese; I had an everything bagel with onion/garlic cream cheese and lox. Good coffee, too, although I can't remember the vendor. The space is fantastic (although I miss the older setting!). The one star I lopped off had to do with cost - sure, lox is expensive-ish, but $10 for a bagel sandwich? Yikes! It's not the end of the world, but it does indicate a price level that may be a bit prohibitive to getting more people in the door. Ultimately, however, I highly recommend BBC - fantastic food!

Delicious! The young lady behind the counter, who I believe I heard was the manager, did a great job. Efficient, timely, and appreciative. The sandwich was delicious! Sausage, Egg, and Cheese. Great place. Visit often for breakfast before work.

Love this spot. There's plenty of room to take a sec, eat and decompress. The coffee is good. The bagel sandwiches are great and it's inexpensive.

Visiting a friend at IU and she recommended we check out BBC. They certainly didn't disappoint! The selection of bagels seems endless as well as the schmears they offer. If you like coffee definitely try the Iced hazelnut! It was a wonderful surprise to see almond milk out with the regular milk. We all enjoyed our bagels, and I will definitely be back soon!

What a cozy bagel spot so close to campus! I liked the blueberry bagels I had--it was different from regular ones. Crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. Not too sweet no too plane. They have a good selection of coffees as well. And milk choices are diverse enough to suit most desires.In addition they offer a comprehensive profile of other goods popular for lunch. Salads did look fresh. I would recommend this place to someone looking for a quick yet delicious bite.

Bloomington Bagel has a really great selection of bagels and schmears. They aren't too expensive, and the selection is incredible!

Not a bad bagel place. The ambiance is good. The bagels are pretty decent, although not fantastic.
